I'm here to apologize for being a lousy webmommy, I couldn't even manage the one-shot requests right now. Most of our writers are on their last month of school and that means that they're studying for their finals (including me) so I do apologize if your one-shot is taking so long. Also, the other reviews. Probably our reviewers are too busy but rest assured, we're getting it all done :)

ANYWAY, I'll try to update the status soon, and for those whose requests are under a hiatus staff, I'll try to work on them myself so we could get everything done.

AND AND AND... reiko-unnie, our beloved co-webmissie, is going to college soon so she'll be first on the special staff list. WHAT IS THE SPECIAL STAFF? It's a new thing that I'd like to call class structure (thank you Ms. C for teaching me the renaissance.) There would be the main staff- the active members that could easily get the work done- and the special staff- where we have our busy or hiatus staffs. I'm not saying that they're irresponsible, they're just busy :)

so yeah, if you're a ccm staff and you're going to college too then please let me know. half of you didn't include a year of birth on your birthdate so I won't really know if you're in college or not. mostly all of us are in high school right now... still, GO COLLEGE PEOPLE xDD (lol, idk what to call them, araso?)

If you haven't checked it yet, I temporarily closed the one-shot requests because we have a long list of pending requests. I don't blame anyone but myself since everything's my fault. (*cries) Just kidding, well, anyway, we're still in need of one-shot writers. I just hired 2 today and I'm still waiting for their replies so I'm guessing we still need 3-4 more?

@ sweet_love_23: I've already put ellen on the request form. Phew, thanks for pointing it out!

@HenryLau_fan88: You can if you cancel your request and request with another form again with the writer that you desire. I'm sorry if it's kinda complicated, but you just have to follow it so it's easy to organize.

Basically, the site is on one hell damned mess and I apologize.

People just suddenly applies so I get things messed up. I'm terribly sorry, and if there are still other stuffs that I mistakenly posted, feel free to point it out so I could fix it.

And yeah, more updates!

1. Assuming that the whole staff said yes, I will be sending newsletters monthly to the entire staff OR just make a site specially made for that one. It will be like a real newspaper, but only has news about the site, future projects, affies, birthdays, blah blah blah and whatever.

2. I now have one project in mind, and it's called the "Cookie Munchers" project. But before I post it online and more information, I'll first ask more affies so we could spread the news quickly.

3. The site might go in a slightly-hiatus status because of the following:
-- school is a big pain, it slows me down on updating.
-- I'm currently looking for a job (yeah, I know I'm young.)
-- I'm busy brainstorming for the site's next layout.
It's only a slight-hiatus (like, I'll only be updating every after 2 days) and it doesn't mean that CC Munchers are gone forever! NO, we're not that irresponsible. Well, maybe I'm a bit messy but I assure you that not the rest of the staff. He-he-he, so yeah, your requests might also reach the designers/reviewers/writers a day or two after you've sent it.

4. I know some of us are busy with our finals, and your summer break is on April or March. Unfortunately, here in Canada, our summer break starts in June and in other places. Don't expect that I'll be SUPER-ACTIVE in these coming months; I might and I might not. It depends.

Note: Half of our reviewing staff needs help on this section, therefore I made this reviewing guide for them. This is also available for the guests, and please credit back to the site if ever you're going to take it away.

Story Title: (5/5)
-- I know I should have put 10 points for the title since the title is the center of the story.
-- In reviewing stories, you should first read the entire plot, and give attention to every little detail of the chapters or the whole story. Think whether the title fits the plot well, or vice versa.
-- Make sure that the title's format is right; check the spelling, vocabulary, punctuations and it's not messed up.
-- Don't forget to comment about it, tell the author what you think and give advice.

Appearance: (10/10)
-- The appearance is the poster, background and the font colors. Do you think that the colors fit the theme perfectly? Does the colors too distracting for you, you can't concentrate on the story that you're reading?
-- The appearance is what gives the story life. If you look at it this way, when you read stories with just plain black and white as its font color and background, it looks really plain.
-- The poster also attracts readers; if the poster looks cool and is simply catches the readers' attention, then surely the readers will be interested in reading the story. Do you think the poster made you read the story, made you feel fascinated?
-- Don't forget to comment about everything and give advice.

Forewords/ Introduction: (10/10)
--The forewords simply gives the readers an idea what will the story be about; is the story full of angst, or full of comic lines, or filled with romances between different people?
-- The author's might not think that introducing the character isn't really a big deal, but in my honest opinion, I think that introducing characters is one heck of a big deal. It might be hard for you to grade the characterization because some writers make the main cast change in just a flash; one chapter they're mean, the next one they're nice.
-- The synopsis is also important for every forewords. The readers should know what the plot should be about. For example, you're more interested in gangsters and bullets but the poster is more of romance and lovers. Yeah, sometimes the poster is really out of story, so better check the short introduction of the story. (A little preview is good too!)
--Make sure that the forewords doesn't give the whole idea out.
-- Check for proper grammar, vocabulary, punctuation, spelling and such. Give advice.

Plot: (20/20)
-- The plot is the one that supports the title. The plot is where everything happens and it is where the title is being explained. Make sure that the title or the idea is hidden within (gives you an idea in) every chapter.
-- Add points if the story plot is interesting and entertaining. If the story's mood is angst, then add points if it keeps you fascinated and wants you to read more.
-- Also check if the plot is unique, or has its own twists.
-- ALWAYS check the vocabulary, grammar, punctuations and the spelling; these elements are really important because one wrong misspelled word can give confusion to the readers' mind.
-- Give advice on how to improve, or suggest ideas.

Characterization: (10/10)
-- Like what I've said before about the Forewords, characters are really important. Their personalities might give you a hint or idea on what they'll be planning, or what are their weaknesses and strengths.
-- Give points if the characters stayed in their own personalities with no sudden changes after every chapter.
-- The story is nothing without the minor characters, so make sure that you only not look at the main characters, but also at the supporting ones.

Creativity/Originality: (10/10)
-- This is where you check if the story is original or not. Is it the only story you've read with this kind of plot and title?
-- Also look at the characters; if the story has one unique casting then add points.
-- Think if they plagiarized someone's work, or if they copied it from someone, make sure that they had permission from the original writer.

Spelling/Vocabulary/Grammar/Punctuations: (10/10)
-- So not all of us are perfect, but like what I've said before, these elements are really important so it won't lead to sudden confusion between the readers and the story.
-- This is just my opinion, but I suggest not to use MS Word to beta-proof the story, because it's not updated well. MS Word's latest work is 2007, and for the past 2 years (or counting,) some words and grammar changes are added to our dictionary and MS Word isn't familiar with it.
-- I suggest you beta-read it yourself, as for the beginners in the reviewing world, everyone's here to help. Contact me through my e-mail if you need help checking.

Flow: (5/5)
-- The flow determines whether the story is fast or slow. It's really easy to know whether the plot is fast or slow, so no need to explain anything. >.<

Writing Style: (15/15)
-- The story style is how the story is written and how is every chapter organized and separated. If the story is easily understood by the reader, and you don't get dizzy after reading the story, then add points.
-- Also, additional points if it's really organized.

Overall Enjoyment: (5/5)
-- It says it all; did you enjoy reading the story?

Bonus: (5/5)
-- This is the part where everyone takes advantage. You give bonus points if:
* you're a friend of the writer
* you really enjoyed the story
* you think the writer deserves additional points
* you want to give her/him points
* you liked the cast that he/she used

RULES:

1. Please do not request to our site if you already requested from another site, and vice versa. We will always know whether you're breaking this rule or not, so please beware.

2. Do not rush our designers. Everyone has their own social lives too, and maybe some are too busy to do your request asap. Give us at least 2 weeks to finish your request and we promise to follow a first-come-first-served basis.

3. Once the poster/background is given, you must use it. The designer took effort and time to create it, so please respect them.

4. If possible, please provide us pictures of high quality. If not, we have the rights to change the picture that will fit perfectly with the theme/mood.

5. Please provide working and valid links and e-mails.

6. Please don't ever edit anything from the graphic requested.

7. Crediting back to the site and designer is a must.

8. Limited of 5 characters in the poster. If the story has groups as its main characters, it's excused.

9. Any complaints with the product, please don't spam our chat box. Message us at ccmunchers@gmail.com neatly and respectfully. I promise to reply as soon as possible.

*like what I've said, not all of us are professionals. what I do is I look through the request first before sending it to the person who requested. I made that mistake before, & I sincerely apologize ^^
